Dear Family of God,

The two greatest needs we have is to love and be loved. Every one of us wants to be loved by at least some one. Loving someone else also gives us a feeling of purpose and accomplishment. I had read at one time that if a church is filled with love we would have to lock the doors because so many would desire to become a part of it that we would not be able to contain them.

With is in mind, Beginning February 13th, we are starting the “ARK” project. “ARK” stands for “Acts of Random Kindness”. This project will remind us of the needs of others and how we can show God’s love to others in a very practical way. You will be given many ideas how to show God’s love with people you meet every day. You can do this personally, with someone else, with your family or in a small group. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Lamb of God became famous for the kindness we share?

You will have opportunities to hear stories of members being blessed as they show love to someone who is not expecting love. We will be building an ARK of kindness together in the days to come. You may want to start praying as to how you can show kindness to someone.

Of course, it is Jesus Christ alone who meets our greatest needs. But God calls us to extend His love to others.

God’s many blessings to you!
